Monaco has excellent florists and we are not pretending otherwise. What we bring is a different thing: a supplier who is set up around how a yacht actually runs rather than around a shop, and who does not disappear when the boat leaves in November.

One thing worth saying because people ask: Monaco is a separate state but it sits inside the French customs territory, so a flower delivery crosses no border of any consequence. There is no declaration and nothing to clear.
The Monaco Yacht Show week is the busiest week of the year on this coast and the least forgiving. Every boat in the harbour wants flowers on the same morning, every florist within an hour is at capacity, and the traffic turns a forty-five minute run into two hours and more. We take a limited number of boats for that week and we book them months ahead, because taking more than we can deliver properly is how a supplier loses a client permanently.

A lot of the Port Hercule fleet crosses in November. We keep supplying those boats through the winter, flying fresh flowers from the Dutch auction to the Caribbean, the Maldives, the Seychelles and Southeast Asia with 48 hours’ notice. The winter service is here.
